• To create notes for a subject, open an objective, click 'create new', and then type in the note's title.
  • Since teachers cannot add notes from the Notes Tab, notes in their syllabus will have to be created.
  • Once you have entered all the required detail for your new note, click 'next' to open the Editor page.
  • Teachers will notice that all their note editors provide an option to publish their note to the Notes Tab.
  • The editors has an auto-save feature, but try to ensure you also click 'save' before leaving the editor.

 

 


 

1. Your My Desk Syllabus organises all subscribed subjects alphabetically, and by exam level.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

2. Open a subject syllabus, and then open the module level by clicking on a module title.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

3. Open the topic level to show the specific objectives, by clicking on a specific topic title.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

4. Click an objective to show the 'create new' button, and to start creating your new note.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

5. There are no notes currently available. Click 'create new' to start creating your new note.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

6. You will need to type in a title for your new note. Notice, there is no option to set a due date.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

7. Once you have entered a title for your new note, click 'next' to proceed to the note editor. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

8. Start by typing in your text, or pasting text from a Word document, then format the note.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

9. While there is an active auto save feature, please remember to click 'save' before leaving.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

10. Your new saved note is unpublished, and is stored in the correct section of your syllabus. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

11. Click on the new note to open in full-text in the viewer, and for the options to delete or edit.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

12. The viewer gives the author the option to share, edit, delete, print and also view in popup.
