• To create assignments or lesson plans, for any subject go to the section, and then click 'create new'.
  • Once you have entered the title and due date for your new work, click 'next' to open the Editor page.
  • Students and teachers will notice that the Editor provides an option for modifying a work's due date.
  • The Editor has an auto-save feature, but please ensure you also click 'save' before leaving the Editor.

 


 

 

1. Your My Desk Syllabus organises all subscribed subjects alphabetically, and by exam level.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

2. Open a subject syllabus, and then click 'create new' in the first section of the syllabus.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

3. Enter the details for the new SBA, asssignment or lesson plan, then click 'next' to proceed.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

4. Paste or start typing. Notice, this editor has an option for changing the 'due date' of your work.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

5. Symbols for subjects such as math and sciences can be found by clicking the 'symbols' button.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

6. After inserting a symbol we can apply further formatting, e.g. enbold, to text and symbols.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

7. Changes in font format, family, size, and color can all be applied to your text and symbols. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

8. While there is an active auto save feature, please remember to click 'save' before leaving. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

9. Your new saved assignment is private, and is stored in the correct section of your syllabus.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

10. Click on the new assignment to open it in the viewer, and for the options to delete or edit.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

11. The viewer gives the author the option to share, edit, delete, print and also view in popup.
